All staff members are very nice. I came in after having neck surgery. Range of motion wasn’t normal for me. They worked on it to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain. Will be going back again.

First Dentist Appointment

First Dentist Appointment

Thank you for choosing our office for all your dental needs. We have created a comfortable environment where you can feel confident in the level of dental care you receive.

What to Expect at Your First Visit

During your first visit our objective is to become familiar with your past dental experiences and establish a treatment plan that best meets your current desires. When you arrive for your first dentist appointment, please be prepared to complete all insurance and health information forms.

Also, please assist us by providing the following information:

  • Any dental treatment received and X-ray’s taken within the past year
  • Specific questions or concerns you may have for the doctor
  • Provide dental insurance information at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment
  • Bring your insurance card – This enables us to have your benefits available the day of your appointment and gives you an estimate of your costs for future appointments

Comprehensive Exam

Your initial exam lasts approximately one to two hours depending on your dental needs and any questions you may have for the doctor. Dr. Buzbee takes a full set of xrays and performs a thorough examination. These x-rays are generally taken every 3 years and allow the doctor to diagnose the crowns of the teeth for decay, condition of the roots of your teeth, periodontal problems, orthodontic needs and TMJ (TMD) concerns.

The comprehensive exam and full set of xrays are diagnostic records that help your doctor provide an evaluation outlining any existing dental problems and proposed treatment. We encourage you to ask questions. Remember there are no silly questions.

I am always excited to go to the dentist now that I go to Chesterfield Family Dental. They always answer any questions I have and are so friendly and nice. I am always so comfortable here, which is saying alot because I have peridontal disease and the treatment for it doesn't always feel so great, but when Im here, the hygenist makes me forget all about it!

The staff is so warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in the door. Even though my son is a bit apprehensive about going to the dentist since he had to have four teeth pulled in the past, he is still always happy to see them. Dr. Buzbee and his staff are so great and patient with him. He leaves with a smile on his face and no cavities!

I have been a patient of Dr. Buzbee for as long as I can remember. The Staff at Chesterfield Family Dental is always greet you when you walk in and they seem to know everyone by name. The care you get for the staff is always great and all seem to be the best of the best at what they do. I have always recommend anyone I know to go see them and will continue to do so in the future.
