Meet the Team

Dr. Roger D. Buzbee

Dr. Roger D. Buzbee graduated from University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry. He began in private practice in 1988. In 2000 he began attending the Las Vegas Institute of Cosmetic Studies (LVI), where he became a full mouth graduate.

In addition to his cosmetic training through LVI, he has taken courses at Occlusion Connections where he gained even more knowledge in the field of TMD (TMJ). The comprehensive training in advanced neuromuscular dentistry puts him in elite group of dentists, where 1% of all dentists have specific training.

As result, Dr. Buzbee had treated hundreds of cosmetic cases and his knowledge and ability has allowed him to free many patients of a lifetime of suffering from the debilitating effects of TMD.

In his free time, Dr. Buzbee enjoys fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. Dr. Buzbee also likes to spend time with his family and travel when he can.

Dr. Brock Buzbee

Dr. Brock Buzbee grew up in Rogersville, Missouri where he enjoyed playing football, basketball, and spending time outdoors. While shadowing his father, Dr. Roger Buzbee, Dr. Brock decided that dentistry was the career path that he wanted to pursue as well. After graduating Logan-Rogersville High School, he moved up to Kansas City to start his undergraduate career at UMKC. After four years of undergraduate studies, Dr. Brock graduated as Summa Cum Laude and continued his journey the following fall at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, Brock accepted a position at Chesterfield Family and Cosmetic Dental Center alongside his father. Allowing him to learn from his father’s many years of experience.

Dr. Brock is dedicated to furthering his education by continuously participating in professional development opportunities and training. This allows him to be actively learning and mastering the procedures involved in a modern dental practice, all while using the latest technologies available. Dr. Brock is committed to providing comprehensive care, including cosmetics, same day crowns, restorative fillings, Invisalign and more, all while maintaining an environment that is comfortable, understanding, and reassuring to all patients.

In his free time, Dr. Brock still enjoys playing various team sports but has also picked up on other sports such golf, bicycling and Frisbee golf. His golf game is not coming along quite as fast he had hoped… When he has time to get out of town, Dr. Brock enjoys backpacking trips in various locations around the country as well fishing and hunting around Table Rock Lake.

TERESA BUZBEE

Teresa Buzbee

Office Administrator

Teresa has been in the dental field since 1995. She started her dental career in the Business Office, scheduling patient appointments. Teresa has had hands on experience with all aspects of the dental office. In 2012, Teresa and her husband Roger Buzbee DDS put both their dental expertise together along with a great team and opened Chesterfield Family & Cosmetic Dental Center; which offers high quality and personal dental treatment for the family.    

When Teresa is not at the office, her and Roger along with all their kids, Wesley, Ashely, Heather, Dow, Brock and Wyatt and grandkids Kynlee and Ava are at Table Rock Lake relaxing, fishing, paddle boarding, cooking and finding hidden treasures either underwater or on the shoreline. The grandkids are always finding that ever so awesome “rock”.      

Ashely Lanning

Scheduling and Insurance, Treatment Planning

Ashely has been in the dental field since 2010.  She assisted in the Hygiene Department for two years while attending Drury University.  Ashely graduated in 2012 with a major in Public Relations and Communications.  She then moved her excellent skills with communication and public relations to the Business Office.  Ashely coordinates and schedules appointments, treatment plans, performs account management and handles the intricacies of dental Insurance and Pre Determinations.   Most any questions you may have can be answered by Ashely. 

Ashely is also a native of Springfield.  Her free time is spent with her husband Tyler and two daughters Kynlee and Ava.  She enjoys cooking recipes she finds on Pinterest, reading and taking the family to Table Rock Lake.

Eunice Anderson

Hygienist

Eunice has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 25yrs.  She went to school on the East Coast, and has practiced in several states before settling in the Midwest.  Eunice loves her patients and enjoys interacting with them regularly.  While she is excellent clinically and very thorough, Eunice has a very gentle touch and makes sure her patients are always comfortable.  Optimum oral health is a priority for Eunice and she strives to help her patients achieve and maintain a healthy mouth. 

When she isn’t working in the dental office, she is spending time with her teenage daughter Brittany.  Brittany is attending Drury University.   Eunice enjoys volunteering with her church and regularly being involved with Community Outreach.  Eunice enjoys dinner out with her daughter, going to the movies and reading. 

Shanda Millard

Dental Assistant

Shanda graduated in 1985 with an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Degree (EFDA).  Shanda is originally from Iowa and moved to Missouri in 1996.  Shanda has spent her entire career in the dental field and has been with Dr. Buzbee since 2005.  You can be assured you are in great hands with Shanda.  She enjoys building relationships with her patients and always finds time to say hello and catch up when you are in. 

Shanda spends her free time with her daughter, Bailey, and grandkids, Bradley, Lili and Zahra, who live here in Springfield.  She also enjoys visiting her son, Ben, in Chicago.  She is a summer girl and spends the rest of her free time at the pool with her grandkids or at the lake soaking up some sun.   

Veronica Heithold

Dental Assistant

Veronica or better known to us as “Vern” has been a dental assistant for over 23 years.  Vern graduated OTC in 1993 with her Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Degree (EFDA).  Vern has a very calm and compassionate demeanor and this translates through to her patients, whether she is doing a simple procedure or more difficult treatment, Vern has a way of making most all patients very comfortable with a visit to the dental office.   

After hours Vern gets great joy out of watching her three boys, Aiden, Riley and Gavin, play basketball, football and run track.  They are also involved in drama and choir.  Vern enjoys camping and the outdoors. 

Raeanne Tyte

Hygienist

Raeanne’s 36+ year dental career began at the age of 16, working for her personal dentist over the summer and on Saturday. After graduating from Glenda High School in 1987, she attended Graf Votech receiving her Certified dental Assisting degree. Some 10 years later her dream of becoming a dental hygienist became a reality. In 1997 Raeanne attended the University of Louisville graduating their Hygiene Program in 2000.

From her humble beginnings she has always strived to treat her patients with the kindness and compassion she would show her own family. 
Raeanne loves spending time with husband Stephen and her grandson Owen. Raeanne enjoys mushroom hunting, bargain shopping, her boxer pups and just being silly.
