Our mission and story

Our mission is to be an innovative, family-oriented dental practice that provides general dental services in an open, family-style setting. Through persistence, honesty, and desire, we work to build long-term relationships with the patients in our dental family.

Dr. Roger Buzbee has been in private practice since 1988. In 2012, he and his wife brought their dental experience together with a great team and opened Chesterfield Family & Cosmetic Dental Center, offering personal dental treatment for the whole family.

Today Dr. Roger Buzbee and his son, Dr. Brock Buzbee, care for patients alongside each other. Our approach is simple: get to know the person behind the smile.

General & cosmetic dentistry

Dr. Roger Buzbee

Dr. Roger D. Buzbee graduated from Rogersville High School and attended Drury University before earning his dental degree at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry. He began in private practice as a Springfield dentist in 1988.

Alongside a full range of general dental services, he has pursued postgraduate training in cosmetic dentistry. In 2000 he began attending the Las Vegas Institute of Cosmetic Studies (LVI), where he became a full mouth graduate.

His work includes restorative treatment such as implants, crowns, bridges, and veneers. Outside the office, he enjoys country living, fishing, hunting, gardening, and time with his family.

Modern comprehensive care

Dr. Brock Buzbee

Dr. Brock Buzbee grew up in Rogersville, Missouri, and decided to pursue dentistry while shadowing his father, Dr. Roger Buzbee. After Logan-Rogersville High School, he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and went on to the UMKC School of Dentistry.

After dental school he joined his father at the practice. He takes part in ongoing professional development and training, and his care includes cosmetic treatment, same-day crowns, restorative fillings, and Invisalign, in an environment meant to be comfortable, understanding, and reassuring.

Away from work, he enjoys golf, bicycling, disc golf, backpacking, and fishing and hunting around Table Rock Lake.

Office policies

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. We make every effort to schedule visits at your convenience when time is available, and children often have an easier time with morning appointments.

Please give us 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or change an appointment, so another patient who needs care can use that time. We understand that unexpected things happen.

Please present your dental insurance at each appointment. New coverage or a change in plans should be presented 24 hours before your visit, by phone or email.
