We have created a comfortable environment where you can feel confident in the level of dental care you receive.<\/p>\n<h3>What to Expect at Your First Visit<\/h3>\n<p>During your first visit our objective is to become familiar with your past dental experiences and establish a treatment plan that best meets your current desires. When you arrive for your first dentist appointment, please be prepared to complete all insurance and health information forms.<\/p>\n<p>Also, please assist us by providing the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Any\u00a0dental treatment received and X-ray&#8217;s taken within the past year<\/li>\n<li>Specific questions or concerns you may have for the doctor<\/li>\n<li>Provide dental insurance information at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment<\/li>\n<li>Bring your insurance card &#8211; This enables us to have your benefits available the day of your appointment and gives you an estimate of your costs for future appointments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Comprehensive Exam<\/h3>\n<p>Your initial exam lasts approximately\u00a0one to two\u00a0hours depending on your dental needs and any questions you may have for the doctor.\u00a0Dr. Buzbee takes a full set of xrays and performs a thorough examination. These x-rays are generally\u00a0taken every\u00a03 years and allow the doctor to diagnose\u00a0the crowns of the teeth for decay, condition of the\u00a0roots of your teeth,\u00a0periodontal problems, orthodontic needs and\u00a0TMJ (TMD) concerns.<\/p>\n<p>The comprehensive exam and full set of xrays are\u00a0diagnostic records\u00a0that help your doctor provide an evaluation outlining any existing dental problems and proposed treatment. We encourage you to ask questions.
