During your first visit our objective is to become familiar with your past dental experiences and establish a treatment plan that best meets your current desires. When you arrive for your first dentist appointment, please be prepared to complete all insurance and health information forms.<\/p>\n

Your initial exam lasts approximately\u00a0one to two\u00a0hours depending on your dental needs and any questions you may have for the doctor.\u00a0Dr. Buzbee takes a full set of xrays and performs a thorough examination. These x-rays are generally\u00a0taken every\u00a03 years and allow the doctor to diagnose\u00a0the crowns of the teeth for decay, condition of the\u00a0roots of your teeth,\u00a0periodontal problems, orthodontic needs and\u00a0TMJ (TMD) concerns.<\/p>\n
The comprehensive exam and full set of xrays are\u00a0diagnostic records\u00a0that help your doctor provide an evaluation outlining any existing dental problems and proposed treatment. We encourage you to ask questions. Remember there are no silly questions.<\/p>\n
